Mostly Just Weird, Not that Creepy Mansion on Phoenix Way, Sunday Evening

Yet another full moon at the mansion! This was going to be completely normal, right? A certain mansion-appropriate version of normal, anyway. Right? That was what Mike was hoping for, although his optimism had been waning lately, for a few reasons.

But right now, he still had snacks and was sprawled on the couch, flipping through channels on the TV. If things were going to get crazy, they weren't there yet.

"Maybe then," Jack agreed, but he looked worried. "Have you ever worried that we've been changed too, and we just don't know it yet?"

"...I hadn't thought about that." Derek frowned at the thought. "We'll need to watch each other."

"It happened to this girl I went to school with, Dinah," Jack said grimly. "One night she was fine, the next day she was just -- herself, but off. Didn't realize what was wrong until she mentioned her parents. Body-snatcher shit, there. I'll try to watch you for it."

"Maybe we should have a key question to ask each other to know?"

"Not a bad idea," Jack nodded. "Can't be anything too obvious, or the other us might know the answer too."

"Maybe something about the weather?" A complete non sequitur!

"Something so simple we can slip it into any conversation," Jack nodded. "'Do you think it will rain this weekend?' Would that work?"

Derek nodded at that. "It'll work for now."

"And hopefully we'll never need it," Jack told him. Pessimistically, because with their luck he was almost certain they would.
