Just the Mansion on Phoenix Way, Friday Afternoon
This week was just no good.
Mike wouldn't have minded the constant distractedness so much if he hadn't had a furniture order he needed to fill by next week. He needed to get like a medal or something for his work ethic, though. He'd stayed home all week – apart from a few store runs and a couple of quick work things off the island – just doing his level best to focus on the task at hand.
The furniture. Not –– anyway.
... He was so glad he lived alone now. Or at least not with a werewolf who knew what he was doing whenever he was doing it.
Although right now? Yeah, he was in his workshop, trying to get this goddamned chair finished so maybe he could go out and have some fun tonight. If he just held on for a while and focused.
