Yet another full moon at the mansion! This was going to be completely normal, right? A certain mansion-appropriate version of normal, anyway. Right? That was what Mike was hoping for, although his optimism had been waning lately, for a few reasons.

But right now, he still had snacks and was sprawled on the couch, flipping through channels on the TV. If things were going to get crazy, they weren't there yet.

"Oh I killed somebody," Stiles said. "I just would rather not do it again. Even if it means keeping Uncle Creeper alive."

Derek sighed at that. "Do you... Is the nemeton around still with you?"

"Are you asking if I killed myself over it?" That would be a yes.

Derek shrugged like it ain't no thang.

"Uh yes. That would be a yes," he said. "Jennifer kidnapped my dad so I had to do all that."

"Alright." WHY DID HE ASK THESE THINGS? "Are you seeing someone where you're from?"

Stiles lifted up his eyebrows. Why would you even ask that, Derek? "No. Because I'm me."

Derek just raised his eyebrows at that. Because seriously.

"What?" Look, he had new found alpha confidence in his strength and agility, not in his skills with getting a date.

Those eyebrows were going nowhere. "Apparently you appeal to someone."

"And by that you mean you." He was still surprised by that, and it showed.

"Somehow."

[robinonadderall]

"Yeah, well, you're a freak," he said with a smile.

"One you like." So Nyah.

"Who said that?"

Derek made a face. "Other you."

"Well I wouldn't trust that guy." Oh god the flirting.

"He's basically you," Derek pointed out.

"If he was basically me then wouldn't I be dating you in my own universe?" he asked.

"You as a human." A beat. "Thank god Scott's the werewolf," he muttered.

"I'm really feeling the love here," he said, rolling his eyes.

Derek shrugged. "Would you want some strange version of Scott replacing the one you know?"

"Hey, I'm not strange." Rude, Derek. You were rude.

"Yeah you are," Derek shot back. "You're not him. You knocked on the door. You don't smell right."

Meaning like Derek. You don't smell like Derek.
