It was Friday evening and as had been promised by the posters earlier this week, that meant party time! The mansion was ready, and the mustaches were ready.

No really, there were theme-appropriate balloons.

All that was needed now were some people to have a good time.

"Oh, good, you actually showed up," Tamsin said.

As she was taking a picture of Derek's expression with her phone. Of course.

"I live here."

And sucks to be you, Tamsin! There was some JJ Abrams style lens flare coming from his eyes on that picture.

But she still got the rest of his face! That was worth it.

"I know," Tamsin said, "Mike thought you might've fled."

Not exactly how Mike had phrased it, but whatever.

"Stiles is in town this weekend." So of course Derek was here and unable to escape.

"You could've spent the entire party banging each other's brains out upstairs," Tamsin pointed out, with absolutely no sympathy.

"I get the feeling you'd walk in and critique it." JUST AS AN FYI.

"And if you were nice, I might've not dumped water on you two," Tamsin agreed.

It wasn't you, Derek, it was Stiles. If that was any consolation.

That was just asking for them to have sex on her coat. That right there.

"How kind of you."

On her coat? Was that some weird werewolf territorial thing or what?

"I'm a kind person," Tamsin agreed, "who's still considering the option of shaving Mike's beard off when he's sleeping, so you better be nice to me."

"It's the only way we can be safe from it," Derek replied seriously. That beard might kill them.

"See?" Tamsin said. "Be nice."

"And you'll protect me from the beard?"

"Yeah, sure, why not?" Tamsin said. "I mean, I might tap that tonight, opportunity, right?"

Derek sighed. "I'm investing in ear plugs."

And Fabreeze.

"Oh, grow up."

"You try hearing that."
