'STACHE BASH, Dapper Mansion on Phoenix Way, Friday Evening

It was Friday evening and as had been promised by the posters earlier this week, that meant party time! The mansion was ready, and the mustaches were ready.

No really, there were theme-appropriate balloons.

All that was needed now were some people to have a good time.

Show up, say hi, grab yourself a fake mustache of your choosing before Mike catches you without one... There are also a couple of fake beards as well as a few mustaches on sticks, if you don't feel like gluing stuff to your face.

Mike had a mustache situation happening, complete with a little goatee action. He also had a fake mustache currently in his pocket because he'd perhaps promised someone a photo op.

He also had a cup of punch, and a big smile.

Tamsin came in, grabbed a fake mustache, and promptly stuck it on her forehead.

She was a rebel. A rebel in a fancy black top who was too hot for the rules, thank you very much.

Mike looked her over with a critical eye.

"Okay, I'll allow it." And not just because she was terrifying. He wasn't too strict, and at least the mustache was actually on her face. "Nice creative thinking."

Okay, so Atton hadn't exactly been mr. Hang Out and Socialize since he'd gotten back to the island last year. And frankly, he had no idea why he was here now, except that he was still apparently in no-mission timeout and he had nothing better to do.

He didn't need a mustache, right? He had scruff. That was good enough. He quickly acquired a cup of something soda-y that looked like it could be full of alcohol - it wasn't - and had traded in his Jedi tunic for a Metallica t-shirt for the occasion.

Party animal, yo.

Yeah, that was... all he had. Pinkie won points for being a comfortingly non-human face among way too many humans, but kind of lost them by being generally... Pinkie.

And yet here he was, 'Hey, pony'ing her. It was apparently that kind of week.

As promised, Kitty was here, and she was doing the best she could with the fake mustache, though she had to keep trying to press it back on to stop it from feeling like it was falling off. Whatever, her week was totally better for it.

Hatter thought he had enough facial hair going on that he didn't really need the mustache so he went without them.

He was still grumpy and out of sorts but a party was a party and he wanted to attend.

Éponine wasn't wild about the idea of gluing anything to her face, but she'd been too amused by the whole concept of the party to not go.

So here she was, with a ridiculous handlebar mustache-on-a-stick, and laughing at the balloons.

Irene had lingered entirely too long by the available mustaches before selecting a fairly elegant little handlebar mustache on a stick to clutch by her face all night.

She did not glue things to her face, no. Particularly not things that could interfere with her lipstick.

Stiles had come back from school to visit and was not surprised that Derek forgot to mention a party. However, he wasn't about to complain because he had plenty of niceish clean clothes to wear and, hey, free fake mustaches. He picked a swirly evil villain one.

Allie finally turned up after her shift was over. Since she didn't feel like gluing anything to her face, she picked up one of the mustaches on stick.

Mustache plates and things! Mustache candy (thanks, Wonka's)! Chocolate mustache pops!

Also various chips and stuff in non-mustache forms and shapes.

Tonight's punch is the Pom Selleck. Yes, really. It even has a sign next to it that says so. There's also glazed donut vodka because the world is a strange place. (All the beer and other moddable drinks are a little more ordinary, though.)

. . . the glazed donut vodka was officially Éponine's new favorite thing in the world. Yes, it was strange, but really, so was she.

She might be hanging out near the vodka for a large portion of the night.

Clint took one whiff of the Pom Selleck and reached for a beer instead.

The fact that his mustache was far less likely to fall off into a beer bottle than a cup of booze had also been a factor, just saying.
