It was Friday evening and as had been promised by the posters earlier this week, that meant party time! The mansion was ready, and the mustaches were ready.

No really, there were theme-appropriate balloons.

All that was needed now were some people to have a good time.

"Well, I don't know if ~~meta for~~ Magnum P.I. is on Netflix, but if not, I'll make sure you get the reference eventually. For now, though, Tom Selleck is a guy with an iconic mustache." Actually, that was probably all she needed to know. "And the punch is largely pomegranate juice."

"Thanks. I'm getting better at figuring things out, especially if it's current." Thank you Tumblr. "But the older stuff is hard."

"I do know pomegranate. But mostly in vodka form at the bar."

"That's an excellent form to know it in." In his biased opinion. He was all about vodka this week. Or at least the knowledge of all the varieties of it. "We have glazed donut vodka here, it's insane."

"I'll have to take your word for it," Allie shrugged. "I want to know who comes up with these flavors? But I suppose it's better then the pickle flavored stuff that turned up one time. Even Tiny was horrified by it."

Mike laughed.

"I just got that for the bar," he shared. "I know it seems gross, but the guy said it's great in a Bloody Mary. So I'm gonna make Tamsin test it."

"I'll keep that in mind. I promised her a good Bloody Mary if she ever stopped by," she explained. "Have to keep the mayor happy."

"Oh that's right, I keep forgetting she's the mayor." Because she wasn't very mayorly. "Yeah, that's a good reason to stay on her good side. I'll let you know if she thinks it tastes like ass, though, so you don't serve it to her."

"Thanks. My bartending skills are still on the new side. So I need all the help I can get." Thank god for Google.

Mike smiled at her. "You did just fine when I was there." Of course, he might have been biased and a little distracted, while he'd been there.

She poured a shot into a cup of coffee. It wasn't rocket science. "That was easy. It's the mixing of multiple things that I worry about. But I'll get it figured out eventually."

"And while you're getting there, you can look cute and people will forgive you for whatever tiny mistakes you may make."

Hey, it worked on him.
