'STACHE BASH, Dapper Mansion on Phoenix Way, Friday Evening

It was Friday evening and as had been promised by the posters earlier this week, that meant party time! The mansion was ready, and the mustaches were ready.

No really, there were theme-appropriate balloons.

All that was needed now were some people to have a good time.

He was crying! On the inside.

"I won't lie, I expected a mustache ride joke out of you."

"I'm trying to keep the sex talk on the PG-13 side," he said, shifting a little uncomfortably.

Someone hadn't realized there would be a party and therefore showed up with something else in mind.

Derek bumped him. "I'll make it up to you. There's punch."

Called the Pom Selleck. It burned.

"No need to make it up to me," Stiles teased. "You're the one that's missing out on my former plans."

"Then I'll make it up to me."

"You don't even know what the plans were," he said, looping his arms around Derek's neck. "You might not have liked them."

"Did they involve privacy and a bed?" Derek ventured. He was trying very hard to not laugh at the mustache on Stiles' face this close.

"It did involve that," he said with a nod. "And possibly a toy of some kind."

Also his mustache was awesome, how dare you.

Awesome. Suuuuure.

Derek sighed, glancing around the party. "Maybe they won't be here late?"

He shrugged innocently. "It's fine. We can put it off for a few weeks or months or whatever. Whenever we get the time."

Now he was just being an asshole.

"...are you planning to be away for that long or something?" Because rude, Stiles. Rude.

"Well you've got this thriving social life," Stiles said. "Wouldn't want to get in the way of it."

"You've found me out," Derek replied. "I'm a party animal."

"You are," he said with a nod. "It's okay. I'll just go off and play with myself while you're being social."

"...you would not."

Derek would hear that.

"Wouldn't I?" He totally would.

So rude!

Derek narrowed his eyes at Stiles for that. Because anything more would just make Stiles do it.

That was very true.

"I'm gonna go drink the punch." And maybe get a little bit hammered.

Oh, the sighing at that. "Bring me one too."

So he could keep an eye on your drinking.

"Gonna say please?"

"Pretty please," Derek replied, batting his eyes at him.

"Better."

When Stiles did come back with the punch he had a cup almost filled to the brim for himself and then a half full one for Derek. Just because he was an asshole.

He really, really was.

"I hope you already ate something because I'm not cleaning up if you get sick."

"I can take care of myself, Derek," Stiles said, sipping at his drink. "I have been to parties before."

"Party animal," Derek teased, sniffing his own drink dubiously.
