'STACHE BASH, Dapper Mansion on Phoenix Way, Friday Evening

It was Friday evening and as had been promised by the posters earlier this week, that meant party time! The mansion was ready, and the mustaches were ready.

No really, there were theme-appropriate balloons.

All that was needed now were some people to have a good time.

"I see my face in the mirror every day," Clint said. "And I saw it through many awkward teenage years of thinking mustaches were cool. I'm glad I didn't know you then."

"Let's just check just in case," she said, pulling her phone out of her pocket because she would totally text Barney if she wasn't stopped.

And let's face it, even if she was she'd ask him later.

"No, it's okay! I mean, Barney's really busy today," Clint said, reaching to put his hand over Kitty's phone. "All weekend. He's got... stuff. Going on. Busy stuff."

"Uh huh," Kitty said, but didn't try to go for the phone again. "You with facial hair can't be that bad. Aside from partially covering your gorgeous face."

"Oh Kitty, if you think I had a gorgeous face when I was a teenager... well, you clearly don't remember that time I turned into a teenager," he said, shaking his head.

"You were adorable as a teenager and you will not convince me otherwise," Kitty insisted. His hair, on the other hand... "But I'm trying to imagine you with facial hair now."

Clint thought about it for a second and shrugged. "I mean, I could not shave for a few days so you can see what it looks like if you really want. I thought women preferred smooth guys."
